LIST of Division 52 International Liaisons

International Liaison Chairperson: Rivka Bertisch Meir, Ph.D., MPH (winsuccess@aol.com and Rivka@DoctorRivka.com )
Since 2005 we achieve of 92 active countries; the highest number ever.
The purpose is to encourage professionals and students to belong as a liaison without the need to become a full APA member, receive our bulletin and have the possibility to interact with psychologists from all over the world, allowing each professional to become a leader in their own country by fulfilling several of the following duties and incorporate the “Adopt a Psychologist” program:
· Create a database of their country’s psychological organizations
· Create a database of their psychologists’ interests and their addresses
· Distribute “IPB” and other pertinent information
· Match interests with psychologists in their country and USA psychologists
· Collaborative research
· Collaborative publication not only in the USA but in their countries as well
· Participation in the conferences whenever possible
· Report monthly of Liaison’s activities in their country of origin. Division 52 will publish their accomplishments.
· Joint projects.
· Translate invitations in your own language. Invitation letters are already translated into Spanish, Italian and
Portuguese and Chinese. (available upon request)
· Teaching opportunities and collaboration
· Explore internship possibilities and job opportunities in those countries and vice versa
· Coordinators for each country are being appointed
